An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - June 13, 2018


A cooler night last night and so a reduction in the number of moths trapped, which was thirty-five covering twenty-one species, two of which were new for the year.

The following were recorded: Hawthorn Moth [1]; Green Oak Tortrix [1]; Chrysoteuchia culmella [1]; Crambus pascuella [1]; Agriphila straminella [2]; Eyeed Hawk-moth [1]; Elephant Hawk-moth [1]; Riband Wave [1]; Scorched Wing [1]; Willow Beauty [1]; Straw Dot [1]; Buff Ermine [2]; The Uncertain [1]; Rustic Shoulder-knot [2]; Dark Arches [1]; Marbled Minor species [1]; Middle-barred Minor [1]; Bright-line Brown-eye [1]; Heart and Dart [12]; Small Square Spot [1] and Setaceous Hebrew Character [1].
