An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - August 28, 2017

There were 275 moths trapped and identified covering thirty-three species of which three were new for the year.

The following were recorded; Orange Swift [2]; Carcina quercana [1]; Blastobasis adustella [1]; Clepsis consimilana [1]; Light Brown Apple Moth [10]; Garden Rose Tortrix [1]; Ancylis achatana [4]; Endorticha flammealis [1]; Eudonia angustea [1]; Crambus perlella [1]; Agriphila tristella [19]; Agriphila straminella [4]; Agriphila geniculea [31]; Riband Wave [2]; Garden Carpet [2]; Green Carpet [2]; Double-striped Pug [2]; Brimstone Moth [22]; Dusky Thorn [1]; Willow Beauty [10]; The Snout [3]; Mouse Moth [2]; Marbled Beauty [3]; Vine’s Rustic [3]; Flounced Rustic [6]; Centre-barred Sallow [1]; Bright-line Brown-eye [1]; Flame Shoulder [4]; Small Square-spot [2]; Large Yellow Underwing [90]; Lesser Yellow Underwing [9]; Squar-spot Rustic [3] and Setaceous Hebrew Character [30].
