It had been a warmer last
night and therefore not surprising that there was more in the trap. There were fifty-one moths in the trap
comprising of twenty-five species but again no new ones, although there were a
few new for the year.

Carpet [1]; Common Marbled Carpet [2]; Mottled Pug [4]; Common Pug [1];
Freyer’s Pug [2]; Brown Silver-line [1]; Brimstone Moth [5]; Scalloped Hazel [1]; Peppered Moth [2];
Eyed Hawkmoth [1]; Poplar Hawkmoth [1]; White Ermine [1]; Buff Ermine [1];
Heart and Dart [1]; Shuttle-shaped Dart [1]; Bright-line Brown-eye [1]; Angle
Shades [2]; Clouded-bordered Brindle [1]; Rustic Shoulder-knot [2]; Marbled
Minot species [4]; Silver Y [1]; and Spectacle [1].
