An early morning moth trapping in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - June 1, 2014

It was rather cool this morning and there were juts fifteen moths in the trap comprising of twelve species, none of which were new.


The following were trapped: Light Brown Apple Moth [2]; Marble Orchard Tortrix [1]; Common Marbled Carpet [2]; Broken-barred Carpet [1]; Fryer’s Pug [1]; Scorched Wing [1]; Brimstone Moth [1]; Scalloped Hazel [1]; Lime Hawkmoth [1]; Heart and Dart [1]; Bright-line Brown-eye [1] and Rustic Shoulder-knot [1].
