I made a late afternoon visit
to hopefully see a female Pied Flycatcher that had been present since
yesterday. David had already seen it and
waited until I got there to ensure that I was in the right area. When we approached the area the flycatcher
had been in there was no sign of it but it wasn’t too long before I saw some
movement in one of the tall trees. A
quick scan revealed the flycatcher and I was then able to watch for about
thirty minutes before I lost it again and called it a day.
