I took an early morning walk
along a footpath just to the south of Great Glen and also made a brief visit to
a small lake. The walk produced
twenty-nine species the best being five Grey Wagtails at the sewage treatment
works. I also saw several Chiffchaff and
Whitethroat, heard a Green Woodpecker and added Tufted Duck to my site species.
