I made a brief visit to
Cropston Reservoir first where as usual there was very little with a single
Grey Wagtail and six Common Terns being the best. I entered Swithland Wood from the southern
end but it was very quiet, although I did see a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a
Spotted Flycatcher and heard a couple of Nuthatches. It was also quiet at Swithland Reservoir
where I saw nothing unusual.
