Ninety-five moths were trapped and identified last night covering twenty-four
species of which two were new for the year.
The following were recorded: Amblyptilia acanthadactyla [1]; Light Brown
Apple Moth [3]; Agriphila tristella [13]; Agriphila geniculea [9]; Small Blood
Vein [1]; Garden Carpet [1]; Riband Wave [1]; Double-striped Pug [1];
Yellow-barred Brindle [1]; Brimstone Moth [8]; Dusky Thorn [4]; Willow Beauty
[7]; The Vapourer [1]; Copper Underwing [2]; Vine’s Rustic [1]; Angle
Shades [2]; Centre-barred Sallow [2]; Common Wainscot [1]; Heart and Dart [1];
Large Yellow Underwing [26]; Lesser Yellow Underwing [9]; Square-spot Rustic
[5]; Six-striped Rustic [1] and Setaceous Hebrew Character [1].
