I put the moth trap out last night and trapped and identified thirteen moths covering nine species six of which were new for the year.
The following were recorded: Twenty-plume Moth [1]; Light Brown Apple Moth [3]; Garden Carpet [1]; Double-striped Pug [3]; Foxglove Pug [1]; Brindled Beauty [1]; Waved Umber [1]; Pale Tussock [1] and Shuttle-shaped Dart [1].
