There were fewer thrushes
today but Robins were still very much in evidence. I walked to Little Eye first and whilst there
were plenty of Robins and Redwings I failed to find anything of interest but
during the afternoon visit I did locate three Ring Ouzels and five
Brambling. Walking in the opposite
direction produced more of the same and a single Stonechat but there was no
sign of the reported Black Redstart. As
I turned to go along the beach road the Black Redstart flew out of the ditch
and perched on a fence giving good views, which was a good end to the visit.
