An early morning at Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - May 22, 2017

I put the moth trap out again last night and trapped and identified fourteen moths covering eight species, five of which were new for the year and Chocolate-tip new for the garden.


 The following were recorded: Emmelina monodactyla [1]; Light Brown Apple Moth [4]; Brimstone Moth [1]; Chocolate-tip [1]; Rustic Shoulder-knot [2]; Heart and Dart [1]; Shuttle-shaped Dart [3] and Flame Shoulder [1].
