An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - July 11, 2013

Another early morning emptying the moth trap, but not so many this morning, probably due to the cooler weather.  Fifty-eight were trapped covering twenty-two species, one of which, Bramble Shot Moth, was new.

The following were trapped: Coleophora Species [1]; Celypha striana [2]; Red-barred Tortrix [1]; Ancylis achatana [2]; Bramble Shoot Moth [1]; Chrysoteuchia culmella [4]; Crambus pascuella [2]; Willow Beauty [1]; Buff-tip [1]; Buff Ermine [2]; Heart and Dart [10]; Flame [2]; Flame Shoulder [1]; Bright-line Brown-eye [1]; Common Wainscot [1]; Shoulder-striped Wainscot [1]; Marbled Beauty [2]; Dark Arches [19]; Light Arches [1]; Middle-barred Minor [1]; Uncertain [1]; Rustic [1] and Straw Dot [1].
