An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - June 5, 2015

I put the moth trap out last night and caught thirty-six moths covering eighteen species.


The following were recorded were trapped: Light Brown Apple Moth [8]; Celypha lacunana [1]; Bee Moth [1]; Chinese Character [1]; Garden Carpet [1]; Common Marbled Carpet [1]; Spruce Carpet [1]; Mottled Pug [1]; Lime-speck Pug; Brimstone Moth [1]; Poplar Hawkmoth [1]; Pale Prominent [1]; Buff Ermine [1]; Heart and Dart [10]; Flame Shoulder [1]; Small Square Spot [3]; Sycamore [1] and Rustic Shoulder-knot.
