There were twenty-six moths of
ten species in the trap last night, two of which were new for the garden,
Beautiful Plume and Blair’s Shoulder-knot, and a third, Vapourer, was new for
the year.
The following were recorded:
Garden Rose Tortrix [1]; Beautiful Plume [1]; Vapourer [1]; Shuttle-shaped Dart
[3]; Lesser Yellow Underwing [2]; Blair’s Shoulder-knot [3]; Beaded Chestnut
[3]; Centre-barred Sallow [1]; Lunar Underwing [10] and Snout [1].
