An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - July 4, 2018


There were eighty-five moths covering thirty-two species in the trap last night of which two were new for the year.

[3]; Celypha striana [5]; Ancylis achatana [1]; Phycitodes binaevella [1]; Small Magpie [1]; Chrysoteuchia culmella [6]; Crambus pascuella [8]; Crambus perlella [1]; Agriphila straminella [1]; Pine Hawk-moth [1]; Elephant Hawk-moth [3]; Riband Wave [3]; Brimstone Moth [1]; Swallow-tailed Moth [1]; White Satin Moth [1]; Common Footman [17]; Silver Y [1]; Plain Golden Y [1]; The Coronet [1]; The Uncertain [6]; The Rustic [1]; Large Nutmeg [1]; Dark Arches [4]; Bright-line Brown-eye [5]; Common Wainscot [2]; Heart and Dart [2]; The Flame [1]; Large Yellow Underwing [1] and The Gothic [1].
