An early morning in Wigston Magna, Leicestershire - June 15, 2017

The trap was out again last light and resulted in 159 moths being trapped and identified that covered fifty-eight species, twenty of which were new for the year and one a lifer.

The Red-necked Footman was the lifer, which is still quite a rare species in VC55, with only one record last year.  Another new moth for the garden was the Beautiful China Mark.
